Character NAME: Jesse Turner
Canon & MEDIUM: Supernatural, television show
Canon PULL-POINT: 5x11, I Believe The Children Are Our Future, at the very end of the episode
Character AGE: 11, but he will turn 12 by the time he is taken to Exsilium.
Character ABILITIES:
Stealth: He is cloaked from supernatural beings (particularly from angels and demons) unless he wants to be found. This means that they cannot sense his presence unless he is right there in front of them or decides he wants to be found.
Reality Warping: The most powerful and complicated power of all of his abilities: the ability to warp reality with just a thought.
In Supernatural, beings with this sort of power are rare and are often very dangerous to the people around them. Jesse himself is no different, except with two key exception - he lacks the intentional maliciousness in using his powers, unlike other beings with similar powers. His powers have been compared to a Trickster or a god by Dean Winchester, and can be - and has been - viewed as a very dangerous adversary even by the most powerful of angels and demons in the Supernatural universe.
However, the other element that differs from Jesse's reality shaping powers from other reality shifters is that Jesse lacks control and finesse. Before he became aware of his heritage, Jesse fervently believed that mixing pop rocks and coke together and consuming them will result in going on a trip to the hospital. He doesn't believe the Tooth Fairy is "just a story" but a real creature; and as such his powers created the Tooth Fairy in what Jesse believes what the Tooth Fairy looks like: a 300 lb man with a beard and a pair of pliers. Really, compared to the likes of Gabriel's reality shaping powers, Jesse's powers is like in the stick figure stage of the ways of being an artist: crude and childish and not very subtle at all, not at all as fluid as Gabriel fabricating a whole reality of Sam Winchester experiencing the same Tuesday again and again. He has enormous potential in being a very powerful being, more powerful than the Host of Heaven (and is described to be a nuclear bomb to the angels) . . . and yet comes up short, because of his ignorance and lack of intent to harm anyone.
But even with Jesse's unwillingness to hurt or fight others, Jesse is still dangerous because he lacks control. These reality warping powers are connected to his emotions and according to Castiel, him turning toys alive and making old wives' tales come true is the result of Jesse being happy, and his anger is what makes his power truly terrifying, and it's hinted in the show that what we seen from Jesse's powers is just a sliver of what he can truly do. And, of course, if his life is ever in danger, his powers will react in self-defense. But expect something that that seems the possibility of a child might think of - such as turning someone into an action figure, like poor Castiel was forced to endure.
During his time in Siren's Port, his control is still strengthening. To take the drawing metaphor further; instead of stick figures, he can make more anatomically correct figures and basic perspective, which means that his reality warping has become more subtle and more elaborate. Like a budding artist, he will balk at elaborate perspectives or drawing hands, so he will basically avoid doing anything to do anything that looks complicated so he will draw the figures with the hands behind their backs and/or in their pockets and just avoid drawing landscapes all together.
Let's not kid ourselves, he could potentially make Exsillium not so much a barren wasteland, but he won't do it. It looks too hard and what if he messes up? He will have no idea how to fix it. Well, he'll do, actually, but then he will owe up to the fact that he messed up again and the first time was bad enough, thank you.
Teleportation: He can teleport anywhere on Earth he wants to.
Exorcism/ Demon Control: With just one word alone, he can force demons out of their hosts, even without the use of rock salt or holy water. It also appeared as though he can force demons into obeying his commands, wether they are willing or not. He's not sure how this works and is likely not to use it as much unless angered or fearful.
Telekinesis: He can move things around with a thought. Careful now, he might get a little rough and can throw a chair around a little too hard, he's still a newbie.
Terrakenisis: He can cause earthquakes when he's mad. Fortunately, he doesn't have much of a temper problem so this power will rarely happen.
Character HISTORY:
Like every single character in Supernatural, Jesse's backstory is something of a horrific tragedy. Julia Wright was just a normal woman, minding her own business, when a demon possessed her. It hijacked her body and did horrible things that demons are wont to do, like murdering children and slaughtering dozens of people. Somehow, the demon did something extra worse to the woman - it impregnated her, and for nine months, it stayed inside of her, knowing that both demon and woman have created one of the most powerful creatures the Earth has ever seen, something half-demon, half human: the Antichrist.
Finally, the day had come. While giving birth the demon somehow weakened, or maybe Julia used the pain to overwhelm it, but she managed to take control of her body. Shoving salt down her throat, she forced the demon out of her body, leaving her alone with newborn. At first, she was scared of the newborn, half in the mind to kill it for what it was.
In the end, she couldn't bring herself to do it, so she put her son up for adoption and moved across state, believing she will never see her child again.
Eleven years later, Lucifer became free from his Cage and roamed the Earth. And with that, Jesse's Turner's powers "turned on", so to speak, but without him realizing it. He is able to warp reality to what he believes to be true, and in his case, his fervent belief in old wives' tales such as itching powder can scratch someone's brains out, or pop rocks and coke will make someone deathly sick. When Sam and Dean told Jesse that those tales aren't true, he stopped believing in them, so they did not become real. At the time he trusted them, as they looked at the time to be genuine police officers.
Sam and Dean Winchester called on Castiel for guidance on the issue, and he tells them that Jesse is the Antichrist, demonspawn, half demon, half human and more powerful than either. He has the power of destroying the Host of Heaven, and Castiel find the boy to be a terrible threat that needs to be killed, despite Sam and Dean's protests. Earlier at night, the very same demon that possessed Julia found her and realizes Dean and Sam told her about Jesse's whereabouts, and repossessed her so it can approach Jesse.
Castiel came to Jesse's house and attempted to kill Jesse, but was stopped by Jesse's powers by being turned into an action figure. Sam and Dean bust into the scene, trying to stop Castiel but only to have a rather awkward moment between Jesse, them, and an action figure'd Castiel. Dean tried to make things easier to Jesse, lying to Jesse that he is special, much like an X-Man, while Sam wanted to tell the confused boy the truth. But then the possessed Julia arrives and pinned the two brothers to the wall. Then the demon gleefully told Jesse everything, about his adoption, about the brothers' lies, about how everyone seemed to be lying to him, and why would Jesse deserve all of that? Naturally, all the lies and the consequent truths made Jesse very angry, but it was Sam that got to him. He pleads to him that while he is half demon, Jesse is also half human as well, with the capability to love and trust and to care for others and perfectly capable to make the right choice.
Finding himself more inclined to believe Sam's words over the demon that was responsible to every thing that has happened, Jesse forcibly exorcised the demon out of Julia and asked Sam and Dean what he should he do. They tell him that it is his choice and added that if Jesse brings his parents along, that's his choice, but they will be targeted by both angels and demons who will either want to destroy Jesse or have him for his power.
Asking for a moment to say good-bye to his parents, he went upstairs to see them one last time and wrote them a letter, saying good-bye. And with that, he repaired the damaged he accidentally caused to the living victims and vanished to presumably Australia, if his poster in his room indicates anything.
Character PERSONALITY: At passing glance, he's just your normal kid, right? Really sweet. Pretty calm, gullible even. Take a closer look at him and he will might turn a few heads. For one, he can actually work a stove at such a young age and has the skepticism of an adult might have when catching fully grown men trying to pick at the lock of his house. He calmly asks for ID for guys who look and act like cops, walks himself to school and tucks himself to bed when the parents aren't around. Right away you can tell there's a maturity to him that while not inherently sad, it is something to take notice off. He stares at you like you are his equal, not as a grown up. He's respectful, but he can give a little sass if grown-ups try to address him as a kid which he will be quick to address that he is not.
But of course, he is young and like or not, he's a kid and he still has his innocence and gullibility of one. His adopted parents told him all these urban myths and wild tales as truths and he believes in them earnestly as a child would. He believed in men who tell him they are police officers, and while they tell him the truth about buzzers and itching powder, they still lie to him about what and who they actually are.
And lying? Is something not to do around Jesse Turner. He gets angry, at his parents who aren't his real parents, at the men who tell him he's like an X-Man, at the woman who tells him she is his biological mother who still lies to him. He lashes out everything at him by only clenching his fist.
And with that fist, the earth shakes.
So while his belief and will can fuel his powers, it is his wrath is that makes it deadly and the demon that help created him knows it. Not only that he gets angry at those around him, but also at himself for believing in those lies in the first place, even when he knew he shouldn't, he did anyway. His anger is justifiable. Predictable, even.
But his patience, his willingness to listen? That is different, which sets him apart from both humans and demons. He is willing to listen to both sides and doesn't tolerate anyone butting in and interrupting. He allows the demon to let it had its say to sway Jesse, but he doesn't tolerate it trying to interrupt Sam's explanation. He hears enough of so many lies, he just wants to hear everything that is the truth. Jesse Turner, the Antichrist, does not like lies, but he hates manipulation more so. Jesse has always suspected he's a little different but has never known why that is.
Which brings back to the fact that Jesse Turner is not a normal child, even without the Antichrist-ness. He learns how to take care himself with the basics: cooking his meals, maintaing a B average, the like, but he also has a more neutral expression, and it takes a little more encouragement for him to show any emotion. It took Dean to buzz Sam (and taking a big leap of faith on Jesse's power) to Jesse to actually smile for the first time. When told that his life is one big fabricated lie, all the anger he showed is a cold frown and a clenched fist. When understanding that the world's fate just might be on his shoulders, he accepts it . . . and then he just leaves. He left behind all he has ever known and loved, knowing that it is for the best, despite the pain, despite the fear.
A self-sufficient boy, Jesse is a child growing up too quickly, but he can be relied on making the right choice.
» EXSILIUM INFORMATION

» PREVIOUS GAME INFORMATION ( IF APPLICABLE )
Previous GAME(s): From Siren's Pull!
Previous GAME SETTING(s): Around a hundred years ago, roughly around the 1910s or 1920s, there is an island off the shore of Canada called Siren's Pull. Deep beneath the earth is a machine of some sort called The Core, which functions as the Dues ex Machina to the island natives. It was responsible for mysteriously wiping out the natives there and created a corrupting force called the Darkness, where buildings immediately become rustic and aging and monsters come out of the shadows, the tormented souls of the dead haunting the island, killing anyone who comes near. When there were a resettling attempts, the Core also created the Pull and forced anyone living on the island to stay in the island. If anyone tries to leave the island, they will face the most terrible of sickness and be forced to return back.
Decades later, the people who came to the island have descendants, and there are now two corporations that hold reign to the island. AGI, an entertainment industry, holds the belief that the Core must be destroyed if the Darkness will be eradicated and people are free to leave the island; AGI is also responsible for prostitution and slavery in Siren's Port. SERO is the more militarized company that is responsible for medicine and scientific research and believes the Core can be researched and fixed; SERO is responsible for grabbing both aligned and non-aligned off the streets for experimentation.
Previous GAME CR: Due to him being half-demon and learning that he's been lied to back home, he pretty much kept to himself a good portion of the time to mainly avoid similar lies. As a result, some of his close CR were his canon mates, namely Crowley the King of Hell, Dean and Sam Winchester, as well as Mary Winchester, Sam and Dean's mother. However, he talked to a few individuals outside of this group, such as Jesse Pinkman, but not as frequently as his close CR, so he's not as close to them and the chances him recognizing them are not very high.
Outside Canon CR:
Jesse Pinkman: Jesse gets along with Jesse Pinkman well, as he does with any friendly adult. He is unaware of Jesse's shady drug dealing.
Magneto: An avid fan of superheroes, he is shocked and amazed that actual superheroes and supervillians are alive and existing, and just by that alone makes it easy to gain his trust. Jesse makes sure not to mention the whole comic book/not really real thing to himself, since even he knows that just a giant hot mess he can't get involved with. That said, he doesn't really see much of his landlord that often either.
Nill: Jesse has only spoken to her once, in his last post to the Newcomer Network before he leaves. She seems surprised that the strength of his powers, and he was happy someone at least liked his powers for what he can do.
Elaine Belloc: A very kind woman who also takes a form of a young girl who befriends and comforts him. Jesse is unaware the young girl and the woman are the same person, let alone she is God.
Christina Nickson: An Antichrist who has similar power-related issues, Jesse sees a big sister in Christina.
Franzika Von Karma: A busy pushy-body, in Jesse's opinion.
Bruce Banner: Jesse Turner's most important relationship was with this man. Bruce became concerned over a child living basically on his own, and Jesse had a small fanboy moment even though he was careful of never telling Bruce he was, in fact, a superhero from the comics. Bruce and Jesse had a strong relationship developing over time; usually bonding over the fact that these two were desired weapons and their aversions to be used as such. Jesse looked up to Bruce as a greatly needed adult figure in his life as he dealt with the turmoil and the harsh discrimination Newcomers usually faced and was, for better and for worst, Jesse's most needed anchor.
Canon CR
Dean Winchester: While they both started off on the wrong foot, Dean and Jesse became close, as Dean always makes a point to include him in various activities, despite Dean's well known hatred to everything non-human.
Sam Winchester: Younger brother to Dean Winchester; Jesse has developed a deeper bond with Sam as it was Sam who told Jesse "You can make the right choice, even if I couldn't." This literally became a mantra for Jesse and part of the driving force in his life.
Mary Winchester: Sam and Dean's mother. She invited him over for cookies and was enraged when Jesse was kidnapped for a hunter's game. Jesse enjoyed her greatly and as the island started to sink, Jesse traveled on boat with her and John Winchester.
John Winchester: A grumpy old man who makes it too easy for Jesse to be a little shit to him.
Ben Braedan: An adopted son of Dean Winchester. Being only a few years apart, Jesse and Ben get along well, and Jesse's relative independence made Ben to look up to Jesse like an older brother.
Castiel The angel that tried to kill him. Jesse really didn't like him all that much initially, but when he confronted Castiel about his murder attempt, Jesse could see the reasoning behind Castiel's excuses. That said, they had a distant relationship and kept to themselves. It got soured again when Castiel had the Leviathan inside of him and went out of control, consuming many people and even tried to kill and eat Jesse himself. But it eventually sooth over . . . sort of. Jesse still kept his distance though.
Lucifer: The fallen angel and father of all demons, which makes Lucifer technically Jesse's grandfather. Jesse knew about how Lucifer tried to bring about the apocalypse and was a little unwary with him.
Michael: Jesse was pretty cool with the archangel on the grounds that he never knew Michael was an angel in the first place.
Rapheal: Wow, this guy was a real jerk. Jesse disliked him even more than Castiel, and that was a feat by itself.
Chuck: This guy had this appearance of silliness to Jesse and he sometimes looked a little drunk at times. Then Crowley revealed Chuck was actually God, and Jesse was not surprised one bit.
Crowley: A demon made from the pit of Hell, Jesse's uncle and The King of Hell, Crowley became Jesse's instructor in the ways of controlling his demonic powers. Crowley made jokes that made Jesse frown in annoyance, but he still liked him all the same. Not as much as Jesse liked Growley Crowley's Hellhound, but that's usually the case with everyone with Growley and her master.
Your character's DEVELOPMENT:
Oh boy.
When Jesse first arrived at Siren's Port, he was seriously WTFing at everyone. No, really, what is this, this isn't Australia - wait, this is Canada? WTF, dude. How did that even work? Well, he can't teleport out of the island, which was weird. So he pretty much lived in the Newcomer apartments, which gave him a month of free rental. Pretty cool, right? He thought so too.
He also saw Bruce Hulking out due to Core-caused stress. Consider this foreshadowing.
Anyway, there's this rich island-native dickhead. He had this tendency to hunt shit, whether it is imported exotic animals, slaves, or Newcomers. He already did one Newcomer Hunt long ago, then he did it again just before Jesse arrived. Now he's doing it again and he thought it be a great idea to grab a little boy and the Hulk as a means to hunt them down for fun.
This was the worst idea since the sixth season of Survivor.
One thing led to another, and Jesse and the Hulk and other captured Newcomers managed to escape. Jesse was still a little freaked out by the whole thing and more or less stayed indoors with his (still free) shabby apartment. When he hears other Newcomers have attacked the Hunting Grounds in revenge for the hunts, he surprised himself in feeling that they shouldn't have done it, as he felt the newcomers lost the moral advantage they had in pressing charges agains the hunter that tried to kill him. How inconsiderate.
But still, Jesse bonded with Bruce Banner over being living WMDs themselves, and Bruce got him a place at the House of Awesome, a really swanky apartment complex/condo/secret lair of Magneto. Things were pretty okay until Jesse started to practice on his powers without supervision. That was around the time when Jesse accidentally Hulk-out Bruce and turned him into a toy in his panic. So Jesse spent a week trying to get Bruce to be de-toyed, unaware as he tries to do so, his powers managed to make other toys to be turned alive and create chaos into the street. Finally Jesse realizes what is going on and reversed the damage, turning the toys back to normal. Unfortunately, he was not able to bring the dead back to life but he did managed to turn the Hulk back to Bruce Banner again.
Realizing he needed some guidance - like actual guidance, not breathing exercises Bruce showed him - he went to Crowley, his uncle, who also happened to be a demon and the King of Hell from his world, as well as Jesse's uncle.
Jesse Turner's family history is pretty fucked up, don't you know.
Anyway, life became a little more normal for Jesse. He went to school, made some native friends (those that he can who don't have parents affiliated with MAN, an anti-Newcomer parent group) and while there are naturally a few bumps in the road (like going back in time when Siren's Port was first settled), Jesse had been almost happy.
Almost, except the Core took Bruce back to his home world. The closest thing to an anchor, to a parent now gone, Jesse became a little colder, stoic even, and less likely to reach out to new people. Still relatively friendly, still sassy, but he also had a sense of not really caring. The Governor disappearing? What about it? People being murdered? So what? Why would he care when they never cared to hear his voice in the first place? This attitude only gotten worse when Castiel became infected with the Leviathan and was now killing and consuming anything within its sight. It - Castiel - even tried to eat Jesse. Frustrated, Jesse blew up a library in the Leviathan's face in frustration and flounced, even yelling at Crowley, the sodding King of Hell, for not killing Castiel earlier.
Eventually, the Core started to break apart. Somehow, Magneto and a few others have infiltrated the Core and triggered it to create another action one last time. This time, the old baseball field split open to show the Core in its glory, revealing other others Cores. This time, people can go home via the Core opening, or leave the island and stay in the dimension forever, or just stay on the island and die.
Well, dying was completely off the table as far as Jesse was concerned. He thought about going home, to go and hide in Australia, but he decided fuck that. He's the Antichrist, he had all this power in his fingertips. Sam and Dean stopped their world from ending, it was clear to Jesse that the world he was born into didn't need an Antichrist to save it or destroy it. And with Christina, the other Antichrist, gone and returned to her world, maybe the world that brought Siren's Port into being may need an Antichrist to save it too. With the Core screwing up, the Darkness will spread to every corner of the planet, and everyone will need all the help they can get.
So Jesse packed his things, made his final post to the Newcomer Network to say his good-byes, and went to a ship with other Newcomers, determined to make a world a better place, not to hide in it.

[ There is a young boy, just barely past his twelfth birthday. He seems to have a monster of a red rolling luggage behind him that's nearly as tall as he is. He also has a young dog with him, some kind of a blond Labrador mutt. In one hand, there is a small clear cage, with a hamster in it.
And if you think boy's tablet is hovering, you are totally right. It is hovering. Kid's got his hands full, okay? ]
I just got off a Canadian island that had monsters at night. I just got on a boat and now I'm told that I'm in Exsilium or whatever and I have to fight a war?
[ Jesse thinks that over, clearly thinking on it. ]
I'm not sure if I'm up to that.
Revised First Person
[ There is a young boy, just barely past his twelfth birthday. He seems to have a monster of a red rolling luggage behind him that's nearly as tall as he is. He also has a young dog with him, some kind of a blond Labrador mutt. In one hand, there is a small clear cage, with a hamster in it. He seems vaguely thoughtful, but it is hard to tell. Jesse has always had muted expressions, even when he is with people he is the most close with. A small, warm smile shows his happiness and a cold frown reveals his terrible fury, and his face now is his typical neutral expression.
He looks up to his upper right, clearly mulling things over before he speaks. Normally he doesn't think so much on talking to people - it's not like he's shy or anything - but he feels like a little hands-off approach should be warranted.
And if you think boy's tablet is hovering, you are totally right. It is hovering. Kid's got his hands full, okay? ]
I just got off a Canadian island that had monsters at night. I just got on a boat and now I'm told that I'm in Exsilium or whatever and I have to fight a war?
[ Another pause, this time heavily weighted. ]
I'm not sure if I'm up to that.
So what we do here, exactly?

Here is the Test Drive Meme for Jesse! I'm not sure if it technically counts as no one tagged it, so tell me if this isn't enough!

First PERSON:

[ Another pause, this time heavily weighted. ]
I'm not sure if I'm up to that.
So what we do here, exactly?
Third PERSON:
Here is the Test Drive Meme for Jesse! I'm not sure if it technically counts as no one tagged it, so tell me if this isn't enough!
